Tour Overview

Bike, Hike & Raft in Spectacular Scenery

Sojourn features incredible natural wonders during Oregon bicycle tours in the Columbia Gorge region. Navigated more than 200 years ago by Lewis and Clark, the region is the crown jewel of the Pacific Northwest. Snow capped peaks tower majestically above glacial lakes, waterfalls cascade into mountain streams, and colorful wildflowers punctuate fields and roadsides.

Oregon's Columbia Gorge region offers extensive opportunities for cyclists to tour lightly traveled roads through stunning scenery. To the south lies majestic and glaciated Mt. Hood, Oregon’s tallest peak. To the north, Washington’s Mt. Adams forms an equally impressive backdrop.

Ride a bike path that Bicycling Magazine describes as a "must ride.” Enjoy stunning vistas along a gorgeous two lane road that winds past a series of spectacular waterfalls and awe-inspiring overlooks. Join your tour mates on a professionally guided raft trip. Visit historic Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood where snowfields remain through the summer.

Walk along a remote alpine lake featuring stunning views of Oregon's tallest peak as it looms across the lake. Swim or paddle a canoe in the lake's pristine water before cycling through rolling orchard farmland into the Hood River Valley.

The town of Hood River, where you will be based for four nights of your trip, is a cultural hub for outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds. It is also home to coffee houses, shops, restaurants, cafes and several of Oregon's finest brew pubs.
