Bike and Hike California's Joshua Tree National Park
This biking and hiking tour in Joshua Tree showcases Southern California’s towering mountain ranges and unusual desert landscapes. Explore the famous neighborhood of Palm Springs and its dining and arts scene, then set off to Joshua Tree National Park. Starting at the park’s visitors’ center, you’ll cycle past massive and unusual rock formations through a winding canyon that traverses the San Andreas Fault. Hike through Indian Canyons and learn about Palm Canyon’s fan palm oasis from a native Cahuilla Indian park ranger. Watch for the herds of bighorn sheep roaming the canyons in the Santa Rosa foothills. Hike up Ryan Mountain and Skull Rock, then head back to Palm Springs in the afternoon for shopping, dining, or browsing art galleries.

FAQs
- Start & End: The tour starts at 12:30 PM at the Hyatt Palm Springs. Upon tour conclusion you will be dropped off at the Palm Springs airport (PSP) at 3:30 PM.
- Meals: All breakfasts and lunches are covered, as well as most dinners. We leave an evening open for you to explore the variety of restaurants in the area. We strongly recommend researching opening times and making a reservation for the restaurants you pick.
- Shuttle: In order to offer you the best of an area on a trip, we sometimes have to make liberal use of shuttles. On this trip, there are some shuttles, taking around 1 hour.
- E-Bike: Limited number of E-bikes are offered on a first come first serve basis.
- Van support: There are a few longer ride days and you can choose to ride as much or as little as you want. Our vans are always there to offer you a break.
- Flexibility: Our trips are designed to be flexible, giving you the freedom to experience it the way YOU want. So if you want some downtime or to do things on your own, our leaders will work to find you the best days to do it.
- Non-Biking Activities: There are a couple of hikes on this trip, but they are all rated as easy. Appropriate footwear is still recommended.
- Routing and Scheduling: The itinerary we provide can change on a certain day in terms of restaurant time, road closures, and weather conditions. Our leaders are fully trained at offering alternate plans and solutions. We seek your cooperation and promise to deliver the best vacation experience regardless.

Palm Springs & Joshua Tree National Park Bike Tour
Start your Joshua Tree National Park bicycle tour with a ride through the famous neighborhood of Palm Springs. Enjoy a private dinner and reception at one of our favorite restaurants.
Your introduction to strikingly beautiful Joshua Tree National Park begins at the Park’s Visitor Center. Ride by huge and unusual rock formations through a winding canyon that crosses the San Andreas Fault.
Hike through Indian Canyons followed by Palm Canyon’s fan palm tree oasis after an introduction from a native Cahuilla Indian Park Ranger. You can also choose to ride to, or to and from, the start and endpoint of the planned hike.
Travel to Joshua Tree National Park for hikes up Ryan Mountain and to Skull Rock. We will transport you back to Palm Springs after lunch.
