Tour Overview
Bike Tour in Florida Keys and Everglades
Join our Florida Bike Tour from Miami to Key West, which takes you through the breathtaking Everglades National Park. This unique region features crystal-clear waters, diverse plant life, and abundant wildlife. We will ride along the Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail, covering 107 miles to Key West, while enjoying stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico as they flank US Route 1 up to Mile Marker 0—the southernmost point in the continental United States. This easy bike tour is designed for active individuals, even those who may not cycle often, with daily rides averaging 20 to 35 miles over mostly flat terrain. Accommodations during the trip are in 4-star and 5-star oceanfront resorts. We’ll stop at an alligator farm, a diving museum, and a local brewery along the way to Key West. Experience the thrill of an airboat ride through the Everglades, the largest subtropical wilderness in North America and home to many endangered wildlife species. You’ll also have time to explore the Keys and enjoy various resort activities, including a visit to Ernest Hemingway’s famous home and the Florida Keys Lighthouse. The tour culminates with a sunset cruise and a farewell dinner by the water in beautiful Key West.

FAQs
- Start & End: We pick you up from the Hilton Blue Lagoon in Miami at 7:30 AM. At the end of the trip we drop you off at Key West airport (9:15 AM) or you can take our van back to Miami airport (12:30 PM ETA).
- Meals: All breakfasts are covered, as well as most lunches and dinners. We leave a few evenings and afternoons open for you to explore the variety of restaurants in the area. We strongly recommend a reservation for the restaurants you pick.
- Shuttle: In order to offer you the best of the pick on a trip, we sometimes have to make use of shuttles. On this trip, there is a 1 1/2 hour shuttle ride from the Miami hotel to Everglades National park at the start of the tour. Also, there is a 3-hour shuttle back to Miami at the end of the tour.
- Routes: Although most of the riding is on trails and bike paths we do sometimes will share the road with traffic. While crossing bridges sometimes the shoulder is narrow and though it is relatively safe, we encourage guests who feel nervous to get in the van.
- Non-Biking Activities: Sunset Sailing at Keywest is included in the trip. You can choose to rent kayaks or do water sports on your own either at Isla Bella resort or in Key west.
- E-Bike: Limited number of E-bikes are offered on a first come first serve basis.
- Van support: There are a few longer ride days and you can choose to ride as much or as little as you want. Our vans are there to offer you a break, just communicate and set expectations with your leaders.
- Flexibility: Our trips are designed to be flexible, giving you the freedom to experience it the way YOU want. So if you want some downtime or to do things on your own, our leaders will work to find you the best days to do it.
- Level of Riding: This is rated as an easy trip with barely any elevation. Riding distances vary with a day on your own on Day 3. Currently, the longest distance you can ride is 52 miles in a single day but once again you can choose to opt for less mileage.
- Routing and Scheduling: The itinerary we provide can change on a certain day in terms of restaurant time, road closures, and weather conditions. Our leaders are fully trained at offering alternate plans and solutions. We seek your cooperation and promise to deliver the best vacation experience regardless.
