Where does this trip start, end, and go?
This acclaimed bike tour begins in the shadow of Tucson’s Santa Catalina Mountains before leading into Saguaro National Park’s Cactus Loop to showcase the region’s unusual ecosystem of giant Saguaro cacti, travel to the beautiful Patagonia lake and end in the quaint border town of Tubac. Begin your day with a gorgeous ride on the Cactus Loop of Saguaro National Park through the park’s unusual ecosystem of giant Saguaro cacti.
A gradual climb over Gates Pass leads to a stunning ride through the west side of Saguaro National Park and to the highly regarded Arizona Desert Museum. Explore at your own pace or enjoy a docent-led tour through this unique and beautiful desert setting.
After a short shuttle, ride along an exhilarating landscape to the stunning Patagonia Lake State Park! Enjoy a picnic by the beautiful Patagonia Lake and then shuttle on to Tubac or get in an epic ride .
A stunning ride through unusual rock formations leads to the gorgeous and remote Peña Blanca lake. Continue to TumacĂ¡cori for an optional visit to Arizona’s oldest Spanish mission site and its Franciscan church.
We’ll transport you back to the airport in Tucson following breakfast.
