Tour Overview

Tucson, Saguaro National Park & Sonoran Desert Bike Tour

In a region recognized as one the most popular winter bicycling locations in the US, our Southern Arizona bicycle trip have garnered accolades from Outside Magazine as a “Life List Worthy Tour.” As one of the most experienced tour operators in southern Arizona, Sojourn rewards travelers with warm winter cycling trips guided by experienced tour leaders. Spectacular and diverse scenery combine with abundant sunshine, warm weather and fabulous cycling routes to create a not-to-be-missed vacation.

Southern Arizona’s Sonoran Desert features impressive forests of giant saguaro cacti in Saguaro National Park. The region is also home to sprawling cattle ranches and rural roads where you’re more likely to encounter cows than motorized vehicles.

Visit the lively town of Tubac, a popular southwestern artisan colony, and perhaps opt for a tour of the Spanish mission at Tumacácori National Historic Park for an in depth perspective on the region’s cultural history.

Our tour season in Southern Arizona features remarkable weather for bicycling with daytime temperatures typically in the mid 60s to upper 70s. Route options offer terrain and mileage suited both intermediate and avid cyclists.

Plan to make your reservations well in advance as trips in this destination historically sell out quickly!
