Tour Overview

Bike | Hike | Raft

Our bike tour in Oregon and the Columbia River Gorge is considered a “must ride” by Bicycling Magazine. Starting from Portland, you’ll ride along the Willamette River and the historic Columbia River Highway, featuring the world’s greatest concentration of waterfalls. We’ll visit a glacially fed, alpine lake with views of imposing Mount Hood – take a dip, go canoeing, or take a hike. Cycle the orchards of the Hood River Valley and experience the cultural hub of Hood River, known for its fine brewpubs. Cross the Columbia River into Washington State and ride in the shadow of Mount Adams. If you like, join a professionally guided rafting trip on the White Salmon River, designated a Wild and Scenic River. Back in Oregon, visit Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood and hike through blooming wildflowers to jaw-dropping views. Take one last look at the massive gorge at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center before heading back to Portland.
