How difficult is this tour?
Easy–moderate. Expect mostly flat terrain on paved paths and bike lanes with daily rides of ~20–35 miles. Van support and e-bikes make it approachable for newer riders.
What bikes are available?
Professionally fitted road, hybrid, and e-bikes (limited supply), plus helmet and a bike bag. We’ll set you up for comfort on Day 1.
Are e-bikes allowed everywhere we ride?
Yes, on our planned routes e-bikes are permitted wherever traditional bikes are allowed. Your leaders will brief you on any local guidelines before each ride.
When is the best time to go?
December–March is prime “warm-winter” season—typically sunny, breezy, and comfortable for cycling.
How many miles do we ride each day?
Most days range 20–35 miles with optional add-ons. You can ride more, less, or hop in the support van at any time.
What’s included in the price?
4–5-star oceanfront lodging, most meals, bike selection and fitting, support van and guides, route files, park admissions, and select activities noted in your itinerary. Here’s what’s included.
What’s not included?
Airfare, airport transfers (unless specified), some lunches, optional excursions, alcohol (except where noted), and personal purchases/gratuities outside included activities.
Do we visit Everglades National Park and ride Shark Valley?
Yes—your tour includes Everglades National Park with an airboat ride and time to enjoy the observation tower views.
Is the airboat ride included?
Yes—an airboat experience in the Everglades is included, schedule permitting.
Do we ride the Old Seven Mile Bridge?
Yes—conditions allowing, we cycle the restored Old Seven Mile Bridge to Pigeon Key for classic ocean-to-ocean views.
Do we stop at local attractions (alligator farm, diving museum, brewery)?
We typically include curated stops such as an alligator farm, the diving museum, and a local brewery—timing may vary with weather and operations.
What are the hotels like?
Handpicked 4–5-star waterfront resorts with pools and easy access to dining and beaches.
Can non-riders or mixed-ability couples enjoy this trip?
Absolutely. Non-riders can relax at the resorts, shop, or join sightseeing while cyclists are out. Shorter ride options are available daily. We do not offer any discounted price for non-riders.
What group size should I expect?
Small groups for personal attention—typically sized for a friendly, guide-to-guest ratio that keeps the experience intimate.
What should I pack?
Light, breathable activewear, sun protection (hat, SPF, sleeves), casual resort wear, and closed-toe cycling shoes. We’ll send a detailed packing list after booking.
How do arrivals and departures work?
Plan to arrive in the Miami area on Day 1; the tour concludes in Key West or we can bring you back to Miami. Your confirmation packet includes recommended flight windows and transfer details.
What if I need a break during the ride?
Your support van is never far. Hop in for a lift, refill bottles, or grab a snack—no judgment, all support.
Do you accommodate dietary needs?
Yes. Tell us your restrictions during your booking; we coordinate with restaurants and hotels to accommodate most needs.
