We had a glorious week of weather last week to wrap up the finishing touches on our amazing new bicycle tour from Ottawa to Montreal.  A few clouds and showers in Canada’s Capital City, Ottawa, quickly gave way to  sunshine as we rolled through glorious countryside to vibrant Montreal.  The cycling in both cities is fabulous on extensive networks of bike paths.  We’ve timed the trip so we’ll be in Ottawa for Sunday mornings when major parkways are closed to vehicles and cyclists have free rein – what fun!  Two days of rural routes between the cities travel through peaceful farmland and enjoy riverside lodging.  Le Chateau Montebello – the world’s largest log cabin – is in stark contrast to the chic St. Sulpice in Montreal.

Sojourn guides, Joshua Poppel and Mark Weinberg in Montreal

Ride your bike around the Formula One race track in Montreal, and visit bustling Atwater Market for an authentic almond croissant or wedge of local cheese.  Guide Joshua Poppel thinks this is quickly going to be one of our top tours ever!  We can’t wait to get rolling.
