Our bike tour in the Niagara Wine Country takes you to the region’s best wineries, along peaceful bike paths, and to luxurious inns. Upon arrival on the Niagara Peninsula, cycle along the Niagara River to breathtaking Niagara Falls. Enjoy a private reception in the wine cellar of your inn’s winery that evening. Spin through vineyards and orchards, stopping for lunch at a winery with expansive views across Lake Ontario all the way to Toronto. Follow the Welland Canal, watching as massive ships navigate a 326-foot elevation change between Lakes Ontario and Erie through a series of locks. As you near Niagara-on-the-Lake, pause for wine and fresh peaches, pears, plums, and apples at local orchards. Niagara-on-the-Lake offers opportunities for horse-drawn carriage rides, world-renowned theatrical performances, rounds of golf, boat rides, and spa treatments. Along the Niagara River Recreation Trail, stop at historical points of interest dating back to the War of 1812 and visit the well-manicured Botanical Gardens. Finally, take a private tour and enjoy a tasting with the winemaker at Stratus Winery.

Where does this trip start, end, and go?

This easy bike tour is perfect for cyclists who are okay with a few gently rolling hills with some longer grades. You can always opt for an e-bike that is included in your price.
