How are the road conditions in Greece?
The cycling routes in the Peloponnese are primarily on well-paved, secondary roads with light traffic, especially outside larger towns. Expect scenic coastal stretches, rolling hills, and occasional climbs, all supported by Sojourn’s professional guides and support van.
Do the leaders speak English?
Yes. Our trip leaders and guides are fluent in English, with deep local knowledge of Greece’s culture, history, and geography, ensuring clear communication and a seamless travel experience.
Will you accommodate special dietary needs?

Our trips are designed to allow you to experience it how YOU want. So, if you want some downtime or to do things on your own, our leaders will work to find you the best days to do it.
What happens if weather conditions are bad?
Our itinerary can change on a certain day regarding restaurant time, road closures, and weather conditions. Our leaders are fully trained to offer alternate plans and solutions. We seek your cooperation and promise to deliver the best vacation experience regardless.

This is rated as an intermediate trip with relatively short rides and a decent amount of climbing. Riding distances vary. You can choose to opt for as little as you ride.

Can non-riders join?
Yes, Non-cycling partners can enjoy sightseeing, shopping, and local excursions while riders are on the road. We do not offer any discounts for non riders. They will also need to ride the van on days we transfer from one hotel to another.

Arrival in Athens → Mycenae → Nafplio
Meet in Athens for a transfer to Mycenae. Explore ancient ruins, including the Lion Gate and Royal Tombs. Cycle through the Argolis countryside to Nafplio, a seaside town with Venetian charm. Overnight in Nafplio.
Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus → Nafplio
Ride to the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, famed for its perfect acoustics and preserved structure. Return to Nafplio for a second night in this historic coastal gem.
Paralio Astros → Leonidio
Start from the seaside town of Paralio Astros. Cycle past rolling hills and villages, stopping at a legendary 1,000-year-old olive tree. End in Leonidio, a mountain-backed town with traditional stone houses.
