RESERVATIONS

- A deposit of $1000 per person is required to confirm your reservation.
- Published tour prices are per person based upon double occupancy.
- Deposits may be made by cheque, money order, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
- Final payment
- For all US and Canadian Trips the final payment is due 90 days prior to the departure date.
- For all other trips, final payment is due 120 days prior to the departure date.
- Balances may be paid by check or money order in US dollars or by credit card. We may automatically bill when your final balance is due unless otherwise instructed.
- If the final payment is not received when due, Sojourn reserves the right to cancel your reservation.
CANCELLATION AND TRIP TRANSFER (EXCEPT PRIVATE AND CUSTOM TRIPS)
FOR US AND CANADIAN TRIPS
- Cancellations 91 days or more prior to the tour departure date will be charged an admin fee of $250 dollars.
- Cancellations 90-75 days prior to tour departure will be charged 35% of the purchase price, with the exception of certain tours
- Cancellations 74-62 days prior to tour departure will be charged 65% of the purchase price, with the exception of certain tours
- Cancellations 61-0 days prior to tour departure will be charged 100% of the purchase price, with the exception of certain tours
FOR ALL OTHER TRIPS

- Cancellations 180 days prior to tour departure will be charged an admin fee of $250.
- Cancellations 179-151 days prior to tour departure will be charged 35% of the purchase price.
- Cancellations 150-121 days prior to tour departure will be charged 65% of the purchase price.
- Cancellations 120-0 days prior to tour departure will be charged 100% of the purchase price.
- Cancellation penalties will be calculated based on the date of receipt date of the written cancellation notification. Exceptions to our cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason. There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early.
- Percentage charges are calculated on the total trip cost.
- There are no penalties for transferring your reservation to another tour date within the same calendar year, provided you do so at least 95 days prior to tour start for US and CANADIAN Trips and 125 days prior to . After that normal cancellation charges will incur. All changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
PRIVATE AND CUSTOM TRIPS
All private and custom trip group members will need to pay the deposit of 40% of the total group cost within 7 business days of the first group member booking in order for us to block the departure. The payment plan for the rest 60% of the total group cost is as follows:- 30% of the total group cost is due 180 days from the trip
- The final 30% of the total group cost is due 150 days from the trip
- Cancellations 180 days or more prior to tour departure will be charged 15% of the total group purchase price.
- Cancellations 179-151 days prior to tour departure will be charged 35% of the total group purchase price.
- Cancellations 150-121 days prior to tour departure will be charged 65% of the total group purchase price.
- Cancellations 120-0 days prior to tour departure will be charged 100% of the total group purchase price.
- If the group size drops below 10 at any point, it will no longer be treated as a private group. We will then book other guests on departure.
TRIP PRICE
All prices are quoted in US dollars and every effort has been made to produce accurate information, however, Sojourn reserves the right to correct any pricing or product-related errors. You can always find the most current prices on our website or by calling us at 800-730-4771 or +1-802-425-4771, if calling from outside of the US. Once you book your Sojourn trip, your price is guaranteed. Prices cover land costs only; they do not include airfare to and from the trip except for Vietnam and Cambodia, where trip prices cover all internal air costs. Trip prices include baggage transfers, porterage, and all ground transportation during your trip. A limited number of electric-assist bikes will be available and tandem bikes will be available at an additional cost. Sojourn does not offer discounts on trip costs for bringing your own bikes.PAYING YOUR BALANCE
Balances may be paid by check or money order in US dollars or by credit card. We may automatically bill when your final balance is due unless otherwise instructed. If the final payment is not received when due, Sojourn reserves the right to cancel your reservation.DEPARTURES AND TOUR SIZE
Travel to and from the specified tour start and end points is the responsibility of the traveler, not Sojourn. There is no refund for arriving late or departing early from a tour, nor for any meals or services not used while on tour. All departures will require a minimum number of passengers to operate. The maximum number of tour participants on any departure will be 13-20 people (private trips excluded), not including tour leaders.ROUTES AND ITINERARIES
Routes, accommodations, and scheduled activities are subject to change at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond Sojourn’s control. Every effort will be made to operate tours as advertised, but we reserve the right to make changes after the final itinerary has been issued. Sojourn bike routes are proprietary information and are not to be published or shared in any format.ACCOMMODATIONS
Prices are based on double occupancy rooms. Sojourn has a limited number of single rooms available for an additional cost (single supplement) on each departure. If you are a single traveler, and not willing to pay the single supplement, it is your responsibility to find a roommate. Then, after both parties travel on tour, the single supplement charge is refunded to both parties.SPECIAL OFFERS AND SAVINGS
- All savings will only be offered for direct bookings with Sojourn. Any booking through 3rd party or travel advisor will not qualify for discount or savings. That includes past travel savings.
- Group travel discounts cannot be combined with other offers. Group travel discounts are available by request from the Sojourn office.
- Sojourn travelers will be awarded a 5% discount off the rate paid for their previous trip toward their next Sojourn vacation provided it is within the same calendar year or the year following their previous travel. There is no discount for repeat travel beyond two years from the date of previous travel with Sojourn. The 5% discount may not be combined with other offers with the exception of referral credits.
- Special offers and discounts are applicable exclusively to tours of five nights and greater unless otherwise specified. No two savings can be combined with the exception of referral credit.
