Georgia and South Carolina : Savannah to Charleston Bike Tour

In our continued commitment to seek out new destinations and provide our guests with active vacations that meet their increased interests, we are excited to introduce our latest destination in the the low country, a 200-mile stretch of coastal South Carolina and Georgia. Our trip starts in Savannah, GA and continues through a region acclaimed for its unique landscapes, charming Victorian and Antebellum architectures, delectable cuisines, and incredibly rich history, and ends in historic Charleston, SC.

Enjoy an authentically prepared Gullah dinner composed of crab, shrimp, crawfish, and various vegetables, all cooked at a low country boil, while local descendants share their history and traditions over a delectable meal.

Home to breathtaking scenery and Southern cuisine, this tour also features a kayak trip along the sleepy Ebenezer Creek, a national historical landmark and the site of the Ebenezer Creek Betrayal, when hundreds of freemen perished in its waters during the Civil War, cycling the spectacular South Carolina’s town of Beaufort, Sullivan Island, Fort Moultrie, and Fort Sumter National Monument, famously known as the starting point of the American Civil War.

In addition to the numerous historical landmarks and activities, guests will be treated to Sojourn’s version of southern hospitality staying at luxurious award-winning accommodations, dining at some of the region’s most acclaimed restaurants, and receiving incomparable service from our world-class veteran tour leaders.
