Favorite Rides: Early morning rides through either Vermont farmland or along coastal New England
Current bikes: 2009 Trek 2.3 WSD; Trek FX 7.5 is the trusty in-town commuter/errand bike.
Bio: Prior to retiring early, Sue managed health care plan development in Boston and New York and also worked as a software designer and analyst for physician practice management solutions and electronic medical records. Now, as a Sojourn leader Sue loves spending time with people who choose an active vacation, regardless of their prior travel and cycling experiences. Sue’s favorite travel experiences include cycling by headlamp before dawn to the Angkor Wat complex in Cambodia to catch the sunrise from the ledge of a twelfth-century temple; diving off the stern of a junket in Ha Long Bay, South China Sea, for a moonlit swim; and trekking to and in Corcovado National Park in remote Costa Rica. Even after these epic opportunities, Sue says, “I love sharing the beauty of Vermont with guests – it never fails to wow people.”
