Education: B.S. in History, University of Maine at Farmington; M.S. in Physical Education, Springfield College.

Hobbies and interests: Human rights around the world, Free Tibet movement, International Campaign for Tibet, Buddhism, and advocacy for pit bulls.

Favorite rides: any ride that the road tips up; Mt. Lemmon, Tucson, AZ; Smugglers Notch, Jeffersonville/Stowe, VT; and Mt Hood, OR.

Favorite Sojourn tours: Arizona Sonoran Desert, Columbia Gorge & Cascades

Current bikes: Chris Horner’s 2010 Team Radio Shack bike: a Trek Madone that was ninth place in the Tour de France; Trek Livestrong Madone; 1995 Gary Fisher Grateful Dead Hoo Koo E Koo.

Bio: For nearly forty years, Rob worked as an alpine ski coach and educator in locations all over the US, including Mt. Hood in Oregon where he now brings Sojourn guests on tour. Now happily retired, Rob resides in Arizona with Dottie, a young pit bull rescue from the New York Bully Crew.
