Favorite rides: Riding the quiet, rolling hills of Washington’s Klickitat County with Mt. Adams rising in the distance on Sojourn’s Columbia River Gorge Tour—there’s nothing more freeing than the long descent from Gilmer to BZ Corner! A classic Vermont loop out her front door which travels south along the Huntington River through Starksboro (with a spur up the Appalachian Gap on a good day!) finishing with a treat at Bristol Bakery before heading home.
Current bikes: Cannondale CAAD10 for longer road rides, Kona “Jake the Snake” for commuting, and a vintage Schwinn 10-Speed for Burlington city riding
Bio: The past decade has brought Phoebe from guiding young adults on wilderness trips throughout the West, to leading those young at heart on cycling trips. She feels most at home in the out-of-doors and is passionate about helping people truly experience and connect to a place on a Sojourn tour—from spinning across the countryside to meeting locals and sampling regional flavors. When not out on two wheels, Phoebe can be found in the Sojourn office working behind the scenes to manage a selection of tours, predominantly in Vermont.
