Hobbies and interests: Road and mountain biking, kayaking, running and traveling.
Favorite rides: When at home, an early morning ride through the rolling hills of central Ontario and along the shores of many of the lakes in the region. The ride from the Lake Champlain Islands to St. Jean-sur-Richelieu on Sojourn’s Burlington, Vermont to Quebec City tour and the ride in Gatineau Park on the Ottawa to Montreal tour are two of his tour favorites.
Current bikes: Specialized Allez Comp road bike and a Trek mountain bike.
Bio: Joe has lived in eastern and western Canada where he worked in commercial banking for over 30 years. After retiring from banking in 2014, Joe started leading Sojourn tours in Canada. When not enjoying the outdoors, Joe has been actively involved in officiating competitive swimming for over 20 years throughout Canada, the United States and internationally.
