This tour is suitable for cyclists who are able to ride 50 miles per day on fairly level terrain. The route follows the shores of Lake Champlain, and the Richelieu and St. Lawrence Rivers, and in doing so remains on fairly level terrain throughout the trip.
There are a couple of notable hills in the vicinity of Quebec City however most of the route is quite level. Van support is available for those who do not wish to cycle the full route.
