Equipment – It’s All Included in the Tour Price

When you travel with Sojourn, you’ll be treated to top quality equipment from our bikes to our support vans.  Our hybrid and road bikes feature state of the art components and geometry, and have been designed with comfort, stability, and performance in mind. 

All bikes feature a adjustable handlebars so we can align your back and neck angle for optimum comfort.  Our wide range of sizes enables us to fit bikes to cyclists between 4’10’’ and 6’10” tall.

Road bikes have lightweight aluminum frames and utilize a compact frame design with an angled top tube for easy mounting and dismounting.  All road bikes feature 24-speed STI shifting using Shimano components.  Tires are smooth rolling 700c for low rolling resistance and superb handling. 

Hybrid bikes are available in both men’s and women’s style comfortable aluminum frames.   The women’s model features a traditional step-thru frame for the easiest mounting and dismounting.  The men’s frame features a slightly angled top tube providing easier mounting and dismounting than a flat top tube. 

Both hybrid models feature easy to use 27-speed SRAM grip shifting, and a shock-absorbing seatpost and front fork.  Men’s and women’s style comfort saddles ensure miles of enjoyable riding throughout your bike tour.

All models are fitted with a rear rack and removable rear rack pack with shoulder strap, front map case, mirror, and a Sojourn waterbottle which is yours to keep.  Toe clips are available as an option.  You may also choose to bring your own pedals or saddles and have our guides install them for you. 

We provide you with a choice of Giro or Bell helmets to ensure the perfect fit for your head.  Helmets are very comfortable with 20 vents, a visor, and an easily adjustable fit system.

Our support vans are equipped for safety and comfort.  Front and rear air conditioning and heating, cloth seating, tinted glass, lap and shoulder safety belts, and GM StabiliTrak are standard features on our support vans.
